Crowborough Tennis and Squash Club is also home to the Jo Christie Dance School which offers an extensive range of dancing classes for the children.
What's on offer? Ballet Belly Dancing Musical Theatre (drama/singing/dancing) Freestyle/Disco Gymnastic Dance Irish Riverdance Modern Jazz Tap and Mother and Toddler Classes Covering the International Dance Teacher's Association Examination system.
Classes are available from 3 years of age up to advanced level. Classical ballet and characterization are taught alongside stories from the professional ballets.
Classes from the ages of 6 are designed to encourage children to develop their confidence. The classes focus on voice work, developing characters, miming and learning poems and scripts. These fun packed classes are suitable for all children who enjoy acting and performance.
Classes for older students are also available developing script work, role play and audition techniques. Examinations are available through the International Dance Teachers Association.
