Cardio Tennis has recieved a lot of press lately and is now available at Crowborough Tennis and Squash Club in Sussex. Monday evenings at 6:30pm for an hour to an hour and a half. Come along if you like fitness and you like tennis.
From April 1st 2013 the cost is £8 for members or £10 as a non-member, for the full session. You can buy your Group Session Coaching Token from the bar.

Cardio Tennis won't just burn calories and keep you toned it will also help you to improve your movement around a court. Slimming can be a lot more fun than just dieting. The session will help you in many ways and improve your althletic ability along the way.
It will be a series of tennis specific activities sometimes played to up-tempo music. It does not require tennis skills, or in some cases a racket, but it is all about keeping your heart rate up, burning calories and having fun. The main purpose is to get fitter by pushing yourself just that little bit more each week. You will love it.
Cardio Tennis includes a warm-up, cardio workout, and cool down phases. If you are looking for a great new way to get in shape and to burn calories, why not try Cardio Tennis?
The activities are for all levels, you can take it at your own pace. What you put in, you will get out. You will be provided with a great cardio workout while improving your tennis skills. Cardio Tennis is outside and is generally more fun than working out in a gym.
The session takes place on a tennis court (or two) and will be run by a qualified tennis coach, AJ Cotter. He will help create a high energy atmosphere and keep the motivation levels up, challenging you to achieve new goals each week.
Participants can wear heart rate monitors, if they have them, so they can see how hard you've worked. Some heart rate monitors provide an accurate summary of the session including how many calories have been burned. This all helps to keep you motivated and working hard. On average, an hour long cardio session can help you burn around 500 Calories.
Please come wearing appropriate 'gym' or tennis attire, layers are always best and most importantly please wear training shoes with non-marking soles.
