Cardio Tennis is a series of Tennis specific activities. It does not require tennis skills, or in some cases a racket, but it is all about keeping your heart rate up, burning calories and having fun. The main purpose is to get fitter by pushing yourself just that little bit more each week. You will love it.
Cardio Tennis includes a warm-up, cardio workout, and cool down phases. If you are looking for a great new way to get in shape, then this is it.
The activities are for all levels, you can take it at your own pace. What you put in, you will get out. You will be provided with a great cardio workout while improving your tennis skills. Cardio Tennis is outside and is generally more fun than working out in a gym.
The session takes place on a tennis court (or two) and will be run by a qualified tennis Coach to help create a high energy atmosphere and keep the motivation levels up, challenging you to achieve new goals each week. On average, an hour long cardio session can help you burn around 500 Calories.
Please come wearing appropriate 'gym' or tennis attire, layers are always best and most importantly please wear training shoes with non-marking soles.
